3M and Airbus have entered into a long-term supply agreement aimed at advancing passenger comfort and improving aircraft performance on the Airbus A220 program. The collaboration highlights both companies’ continued focus on innovation, materials science, and the development of next-generation aviation solutions.
Under the agreement, 3M will supply advanced thermal and acoustic insulation technologies designed specifically for aircraft cabin applications. The thermal insulation solutions will support improved operational efficiency, while the acoustic materials will help reduce engine and airframe noise by absorbing sound throughout the cabin, contributing to a quieter and more comfortable experience for passengers and crew.
